We are an independent freight-forwarder with strong overseas networks around the world, reliable in performance and have a proven track-record since we first established our business in 1997.

APT.Log since its humble formation has significantly making positive progress from time to time and withstands with steady growth yet today is one of the Malaysian leading most amongst reputable companies in the freight industry.

We at APT.Log have the backing of a management and operation team committed in total quality. Our employees are well experienced and expert in their own respective capacity and fields within the industry.

A visionary entrepreneur and respected leader, Dato’ Halim Tuah brings over 30 years of cross-sector expertise in government, corporate strategy, and logistics management.

A distinguished leader whose career spans the highest echelons of government service, political strategy, and multi-sector corporate governance. With a Master of Management from Universiti Tun Abdul Razak, he possesses advanced expertise in strategic leadership, corporate governance, and organizational development.

His distinguished government service includes key roles as Officer to three Deputy Ministers:-

  • Deputy Minister of International Trade & Industry (MITI)
  • Deputy Minister of Finance (MOF)
  • Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister’s Department (JPM)
  • Strategic Advisory Roles – Former aide to four Deputy Ministers and key leadership positions in corporate and political spheres.  
  • Academic Excellence – Currently pursuing a PhD in Information Warfare & Media Psychology, complementing his Master’s in Management (Universiti Tun Abdul Razak). 
  • Corporate Leadership – Proven track record as MD/CEO and Chairman of multiple enterprises, driving growth and operational efficiency. 
  • Nation-Building Advocate – Active in policy discourse and institutional reforms, serving as Honorary Advisor to prominent industries and social organizations.

 

This was followed by his appointment as Director of GST at the Prime Minister’s Department, where he spearheaded the national implementation of Malaysia’s Goods and Services Tax, coordinating across multiple government agencies to ensure seamless execution of this transformative fiscal reform.

Complementing his public service, Dato’ Halim Tuah has built an impressive portfolio of Corporate Chairman and Strategic Advisor roles across diverse sectors including security services, infrastructure development, commodities, and venture capital. He provides strategic oversight and governance leadership to multiple organizations while serving as trusted counsel to prominent industry associations and NGOs.
 
His unique value proposition lies in his comprehensive understanding of government machinery and private enterprise, leveraging his extensive experience in policy implementation, stakeholder engagement, and cross-sector collaboration. Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, Dato’ Halim Tuah is positioned to add immediate value to international and local boards seeking seasoned leadership in emerging markets and global operations.

MOHAMAD AFFIAN BIN NORDIN

MANAGING DIRECTOR

A venerated corporate leader and successful businessman in the vast several industry sectors enterprising from very humble beginning.

 

Born in Singapore. A Malaysian entrepreneur. Since 1997 until now he is actively involved in business arena and has vast experience related to business sectors and industries for about almost 30 years. He was appointed as a Shareholder and Board of Director and running several companies.

He had his early education from primary and secondary school in the government institution later then pursued his study for diploma in Business-Management in one of the local renowned university / UM.

About his involvement particularly to the industry / business sectors he had established and was one of the four of amongst the pioneers and founder to the freight association meant to focus especially for the local Malaysians and also the Malays participation in business community and to excel themselves significantly at the level where we should be proud of in the sense of economy and social aspects. The association indeed was his own idea and brainchild.

He was the main character to urge, motivate, convince and eventually created and ensure that the association stay alive to keep striving its objective and business agenda and succeeded in its mission and vision with the estimate number of membership around 70 companies and most average of them are still maintained having positive performance by their own capacity individually, progressive and active.

 

He is also making his effort to stay connected with the government agencies, industries magnates, business chambers, trade associations, prominent societies, NGOs along to his ordinary routine running the business as usual.

He has average passion / interest / hobby in swimming, horse-riding, golfing, cooking and reading books.

In brief summary his skill, discipline, knowledge and acumen comprehending related to business management, international trade, taxation, leadership, customs procedures and acts, logistics and freight management and severalfold other.

Making his stride and strive in his business journey he has manifested way forward in numerous events successfully.

There were articles about him / his business involvement and career published-by prime local press media nearly half of the page quite worthwhile and content (in The Star and Utusan) some 27 years ago.

Currently he is projecting and to maneuver upon his vision and mission to penetrate for another nigh 15 to 20 years of success / milestone prior to he set his retirement.
